For the first decade, MayDay Group Colloquia were devoted to extensive discussion, critique, and analysis of the seven action ideals of the MayDay Group agenda "Action for Change in Music Education." Since then, Colloquium sponsors have chosen topics that have taken up other issues of professional importance.
