Colloquium Programmes, Reports, and Presentations... For the first decade, MayDay Group Colloquia were devoted to extensive discussion, critique, and analysis of the seven action ideals of the MayDay Group agenda "Action for Change in Music Education." Since then, Colloquium sponsors have chosen topics that have taken up other issues of professional importance. This collection of documents presents topic-focused summaries, abstracts, and reactions, along with other documents about The MayDay Group history and agenda. Theoretical Papers
The papers found in this section are in-depth analyses of topics central to the MayDay Group mission. Some are by scholars outside of music and music education who present analyses of direct relevance to music and music education and are included as a result of to the MayDay Group's commitment to the importance of interdisciplinary research for music education. Recommendations for inclusion of other such papers are welcomed. General Commentary
